If it’s you’re first time using a personal lubricant, there are just a few things to keep in mind. First, be sure to keep the product handy. If you’re using it at home, keep it by the bed. If you’ll be using it elsewhere, keep it on your person or somewhere where accessing it won’t interrupt the mood of intimacy. Next, be sure the spot you choose is cool and relatively dark. This is important if you want to maximize your lubricants longevity. Finally, when applying the lubricant, be sure not to over apply. This is a common mistake that first time users make. Lubricants that aren’t water-based can be messy, so it’s particularly important not to overdo it with these lubricants.
Generally, personal lubricant is such a natural compliment to intimacy, that it’s easy to let instinct take over when using it.
