A nice alternative to traditional personal lubricant is vaginal moisturizer. Vaginal moisturizers (like K-Y’s Liquibeads, for example) are often preferred by women whose natural moisture has been lessened for any one of a variety of reasons. Vaginal moisturizer is also a great solution for women who feel uncomfortable about applying personal lubricant in an intimate situation. Because a single vaginal moisturizer application can last for as many as four days, there is no need to apply it before intimacy. Of course, the fact that it lasts so long also gives vaginal moisturizers the advantage of convenience.

It’s a well known fact that tons of singles use personal lubricant. But did you know that singles are used tons of lubricant aficionados? Many manufactorers like Carrageenan offer their product in a “single serving” form. These can be bought in bulk, so they’re slightly different from the free samples I discussed earlier. Seems like the best aplication for these would be for anyone who knows they’re prone to excessive lubricant slathering and wants a preimposed limit put on their usage.
