Is personal lubrication worth it when masturbating? The answer is: for women it depends on if you masturbate with sex toys, what kind of sex toys you use, and if the nature of sex toys are such that lubricant would enhance the experience. The question, however, seems one that’s more the provence of male masturbators. If you are a man, it depends on your personal preferences as well as how much energy and thought you want to put into the onanistic aspects of your life. If the decision to masturbate tends to be spur of the moment, lubricant might not be for you. If it is something more planned, personal lubricant might be something you might want to try. If you already use household items (such as soap or hair conditioner) as lubricant substitutes, investing in the more comfortable name-brand lubricants definitely seems worth trying.
